PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT REPORTS TO:

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT/PROJECT MANAGER The Superintendent will report directly to the General Superintendent or Project Manager. The Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing a team of Foremen, installers, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional quality and customer service to our clients. The Superintendent will provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, materials, equipment and ensuring that specifications and safety requirements are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Base pay range

$72,800.00/yr - $93,600.00/yr Job Duties / General Requirements

Schedule field staff, subcontractors, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion. Build complete work schedules and manage productivity on a weekly basis. Provide manpower forecasting and manpower scheduling. Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed. Communicate with project team regarding ASIs, RFIs and material submittals. Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work. Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions. Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health and environmental quality standards. Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution. Maintain daily log (written) of activities on jobsite. Perform Superintendent duties at multiple jobsites, simultaneously. Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team. Walk all projects as scheduled to monitor activities and assist in future planning. Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts. Provide updates on production and forecasting to Project Managers. Preside over weekly production meetings designed to manage schedules and coordinate the work. Ensure the jobsite is always kept in a clean and organized manner. This is a daily task. Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion. Conflicts or revisions to the plan shall be communicated with the project team (superiors, architect, engineer, consultant, owner) for mutual resolution, prior to execution of work that deviates from the approved plans. Quality Assurance

Ensure quality of work meets and/or exceeds acceptable industry standards. Complete quality assurance analysis on projects to prevent call backs and warranty work. Complete jobsite walks with clients to ensure complete satisfaction. Build Long Term Relationships

Proactively communicate with entire construction team at all times. Client relationships; proactively build and maintain relationships with current and future clients. Subcontractor relationships; proactively develop relationships with subcontractors to support future growth and opportunities. Human Resources

Recognize and track progress of employees, properly nominate individuals for promotions and/or incentive bonuses. Assist with interviewing prospective employees and make recommendations. Safety

Assures all OPCO and project specific safety requirements are met. Responsible for ensuring all staff have their personal protection equipment on at all times. Coordinate with Safety Officer for jobsite visits and ensuring a safe jobsite. General Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be self-motivated and punctual. Must be able to multi-task and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally. Must be professional in appearance and speech. THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION. Seniority level
