Are you ready to play a key role in driving aerospace innovation from concept to production? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive production control planner to join our team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing operationsremoving constraints, improving flow, and ensuring on-time delivery across the entire product lifecycle. A day in the life: From advanced r&d through product development, qualification testing, and full-rate production, you'll collaborate with engineers, program managers, and supply chain professionals in a dynamic integrated product team (ipt) environment. This is an opportunity to apply your organizational and problem-solving skills to directly impact mission success and manufacturing efficiency. What you'll do: Create and maintain program schedules in microsoft project, including task sequencing, dependencies, and critical-path tracking. Track and report part and assembly status (wip, shortages, completions) and drive actions to closure. Issue manufacturing work instructions and ensure proper release/distribution. Ensure drawings, plans, and procedures are released at the correct revision and available at point of use. Identify and resolve production constraints; expedite workflows to maintain schedule adherence. Support capacity and resource planning for people, equipment, and materials. Build and maintain production schedules aligned with program and ipt priorities. Partner with supply chain and material control to monitor inbound parts, wip, and shipments; reconcile inventory to the build plan. Own BOM accuracy in excel and erp/mrp, synchronized to engineering changes and work instructions. Monitor erp/mrp execution, update work orders, and remove blockers to protect schedule. Report performance to stakeholders with updates on shortages, completions, and recovery plans. Ensure equipment, fixtures, and tooling are available; initiate requisitions and maintenance requests. Actively participate in ipt meetings to stay aligned with priorities and deliverables. What you bring: Education & clearance: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Active clearance a plus. Experience: 25 years of related experience, ideally in aerospace or a federal contractor environment. Experience working with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams. Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and meet production goals. Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with microsoft office suite; experience with microsoft project and erp/mrp systems. Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Creativity and adaptability to balance multiple priorities. Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
