This role includes a weekend shift once a month to provide support for our weekend team members.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality echocardiograms, carotid Doppler studies, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care tailored to the age of the patient, including Newborns, Infants, Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.Maintain standards of care and participate in professional development.Float to like acuities or less as needed to meet departmental needs and ensure optimal patient care.QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent required.2 years of experience in the ultrasound field preferred.ARDMS certification and CCI RCS required.Registered Ultrasound Technician preferred with a valid license by the state of North Carolina as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.Background in related healthcare fields such as Cardiopulmonary or Ultrasound is advantageous.EPIC experience preferred.No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius.Skills & CompetenciesProficient in Adult Acute Care, ER, ICU, 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo.Experience with Bubble Study, Color Doppler, and Imaging with Contrast Agents.Knowledge of Pharmacologic Stress Echo and Treadmill Stress Echo.Familiarity with GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and Toshiba equipment.Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.Unit DetailsDaily census consists of approximately 8 studies.Interdisciplinary support available from IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.Patient diagnoses primarily involve patients requiring ECHO's, carotid studies, and TEE's.Additional InformationPre-approved time off is granted for two days.Orientation will consist of 16 hours.To apply, please submit your resume along with your requested time off (RTO) at the time of application to ensure consideration for scheduling preferences.Why Work with ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing we take care of our employees!
