Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney with 1-4 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and related tax matters to join our growing practice. Key Responsibilities:
Counsel individuals and families on estate planning, wealth transfer, and tax-efficient strategies. Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives. Handle trust and probate administrations, including advising fiduciaries and beneficiaries. Prepare or review estate and gift tax returns and advise on tax implications of planning strategies. Conduct legal research and analysis on estate, tax, and probate issues. Collaborate with partners, colleagues, and outside advisors (e.g., CPAs, financial planners) to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Build and maintain client relationships with a focus on high-quality service and long-term planning. Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the California State Bar. 1-4 years of experience in trusts & estates, probate, and/or tax law. Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work both independently and collaboratively. Interest in professional development and partnership track. Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework or practical experience in tax law. Exposure to estate and gift tax returns (Form 706/709). Prior experience advising fiduciaries in trust or estate administration. Compensation & Benefits:
