Associate

The associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Serves, demonstrates, intercepts consumers and sells products in a professional manner. Responsible for the event execution equipment in the stores. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. Responsibilities include management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events, communication with store management when the supervisor is absent, assisting other event specialists, providing leadership and knowledge to the team, gaining adequate knowledge of the products represented, proactively intercepting, engaging, interacting, and selling products to consumers, preparing and serving food samples, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, setting up and preparing the event table, completing all work assigned, assisting with preparation for client visits, completing audit corrections, and building rapport with store personnel. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, computer skills, food safety professional certification, and local food handlers permit if required. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and preparing foods using raw products. The associate will be the point of contact when the supervisor is absent and will work in a retail store environment with limited travel.
