Regional IT Manager Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for the development, configuration, and support of business and manufacturing applications. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our application landscape. This position plays a key role in supporting both legacy and modern systems, including AS/400 and D365FO, and contributes to the success of IT initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and support AS/400 systems, including backup/restore operations, administration, and security tasks. Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using tools such as RPG/RPGLE and Visual Studio. Serve as a first level support between IT and business stakeholders to understand and support business processes and applications. Collaborate on requirements gathering and solution evaluation for new projects and system enhancements. Work with external vendors and consultants to meet project and business objectives. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, process flows, and user manuals. Perform data extraction and analysis from various sources to support business decision-making. Assist with functional and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs. Provide end-user support and manage service requests through the IT ticketing system. Participate in the after-hours support rotation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AS/400 systems and D365FO. AS/400 knowledge a must. REST API, other API programming, and XML a plus. Any professional certification in AS/400 or D365FO is highly desirable and will be considered a significant asset. Knowledge and experience with IBM Query, Client Access or Infinium would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous experience working with multi-site manufacturing companies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., PowerBI, Excel, SQL). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to travel in the US and Canada. Seniority level
