The RegionalAccount Manager works in a team-oriented environment and actively manages businessrelationships with customers in an assigned geographic territory. They are responsible for identifying new business development opportunities, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets through regular interactions with their clients. Responsibilities and DutiesAs a minimum, the followingis a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of theRegional Account Manager. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject tochange as the needs of the organization require. Function well as a self-motivated entrepreneur with littleday-to-day managementSecure profitable business by creating greater customer valuethan the competition.Compile leads, research, and solicit prospective customers.Effectively communicate throughout assigned territory to acquirecomplete knowledge of the available markets and opportunities available.Call established and prospective customers, relaying informationto and soliciting information from the same customers.Obtain transactional orders, long-term and short-term contracts,along with pursuing all opportunities from existing and prospective customers,including the follow-up of existing quotations. Work to meet the established goals of assigned territory forboth existing and targeted accounts as well as work to grow territory inaccordance with the expected growth levels of the branch.Inform customers of CMI, Inc.'s product capabilities and discusshow they fit within the established buying patterns of the customers.Quote prices, relay credit terms, and prepare sales contractsfor potential customers.Work with Inside Sales Representatives to maintain and growestablished account base and focus on target accounts.Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts atall established and prospect accounts within assigned territory.Provide call reports and vendor reports to General Managerweekly, as well as a monthly summary.Contribute to a positive work environment based on teamwork andcontinuous improvement.Communicate effectively with other Outside SalesRepresentatives, Inside Sales Representatives, and Management.Submit expense reports and other departmental expenses to the GeneralManager in a timely manner for approval.Adhere to all CMI's safety rules, regulations, and qualitystandards.Adhere to all CMI's handbook policies andprocedures.Required QualificationsHighschool diploma or equivalent Threeor more years of sales experienceMarketexperience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunitiesMicrosoftOffice proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellentwritten and oral communication skillsStrongwork ethic; self-motivatedExcellentorganizational, problem-solving, and time management skillsAbilityto effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasksExcellentattention to detail and ability to transfer data accuratelyAbilityto analyze, track, and maintain accountabilitiesOperatewith high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers,and suppliersValidState Driver's License; Safe driving record Preferred QualificationsFour-yearcollege degree in business, sales, marketing, or related areaFouryears of experience in sales and marketingCompany Benefits401k with Company MatchHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceLong-term disabilityShort-term disabilityPaid Time Off Paid Holidays
