Shipping and Receiving Clerk
We have an immediate opportunity for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our diverse team in Freeport, Illinois. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will perform a wide range of procedures following standard instructions to complete shipping papers, pack, label, address and load on appropriately selected method of shipping. The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour, DOE. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Receive raw materials and other purchased goods, review packing slip for proper quantities and submit for proper documentation processing. Deliver goods to proper locations after completion of the receiving process. Operate various workstations to process outbound shipments. Complete all required transactions in SAP. Complete shipping papers correctly, including export documents. Recognize unusual conditions and report to appropriate Supervisor and/or Lead. Operate forklift, load, and unload trucks for best methods of shipment. Become cross trained to perform many types of tasks. The ideal candidate possesses these skills: High School Diploma or GED. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills. Proficiency with computer inquiries and transactions. Work well in teams. Must be able to climb, bend, reach, and lift-up to 50lbs. Must be proficient in using an SAP/ERP system.
