Botanica is seeking an Account Manager to manage client relationships from the initial sale through ongoing maintenance, serving as the main point of contact. This role involves bringing in new clients, increasing revenue, and providing exceptional customer service to maintenance clients. Responsibilities and Duties
Follow company policies, procedures, and work standards. Maintain and grow sales volume by understanding client needs, trends, and competitors; follow up on leads and prospects. Conduct client presentations and meetings, including onsite visits and walkthroughs. Inform clients about relevant issues and involve them in decision-making. Follow the sales process, including maintenance agreements and communication with admin and production teams. Manage all communication with current and prospective clients, ensuring a single point of contact. Recommend additional services or enhancements to clients. Oversee weekly maintenance and enhancements to exceed client expectations and uphold Botanicas reputation. Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales reports, and contact information. Manage work orders, change orders, proposals, renewals, and contracts. Monitor billing and accounts receivable. Coordinate with Crew Leaders to fulfill client requests accurately. Communicate project status with administrative and accounting teams. Work independently and as part of a team on various projects. Evaluate work quality and ensure client expectations are met. Participate in departmental meetings and training. Complete paperwork accurately and on time, including time-off requests. Arrive punctually and prepared for work each day. Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead orientation and training of new team members. Assist team members with training and feedback. Suggest process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements
At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in landscaping. Irrigation knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of landscape terminology, plants, and installation techniques. Ability to work independently and in a team, taking and giving constructive feedback. Flexibility to perform duties as needed. Minimize non-productive time and prepare for future client needs.
