The Regional Business Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining and evaluating all sales and support initiatives of the Sales and Marketing department to support the company's overall goals and objectives. Also responsible for conducting operational and logistical support to enhance customer relationships and meet organizational goals and objectives. Location
Territory: Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; and San Diego, CA. Compensation
Base pay range: $105,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr. Compensation: $105k-$115k + commission. Responsibilities
Represent and promote the products and mission of the company in a positive and professional manner at all times. Maintain and grow business within territory as defined by management. Assist with account management and development of customer accounts. Establish leads and strategic business relationships with customers. Uncover and develop new accounts, including introduction to Gold Standard, deal negotiations and closing of deals. Ensure the smooth flow of information between customers, company management and other parties involved in the sales process. Send or deliver marketing materials, technical documents, and price quotes to customers upon request. Coordinate and schedule company resources to facilitate an efficient purchase, delivery and follow-up experience for all customers. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations in person or virtually, as well as at trade shows and conventions. Research products and consult technical experts to answer customer questions. Maintain customer reporting and CRM data management; coordinate travel and strategy to fill opportunity funnel. Ensure proper documentation throughout the sales process (communication, status, quotes, contracts). Coordinate trade show logistics with Sales and Marketing teams; follow up on leads from various sources. Attend conventions, sales meetings and training programs as required; perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in biological science or related field; degrees in science or engineering acceptable. Business or communications degrees acceptable with technical training. At least 3 years of experience in a similar position; experience in medical services or medical products industry preferred; prior diagnostics reagents experience preferred; prior sales management experience preferred. Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with web browsers; willingness to learn other software. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to work in a team; willingness to travel on short notice up to one week. Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and ISO standards related to medical devices. Certifications and Licenses
Must maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Physical Demands & Work Environment
Regular sitting/standing, walking, hand use, speaking and hearing; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; travel may be required; exposure to a moderate-noise environment and to laboratory settings with potential hazards. Benefits
