Blockchain Developer
The Judge Group is currently seeking a Blockchain Developer with an active secret clearance. The Blockchain Developer will design, implement, and maintain real-time monitoring bots on the Forta network to detect on-chain threats and anomalies. Will work closely with security researchers, smart contract developers, and incident response teams to proactively defend our protocols and user assets. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Forta detection bots using TypeScript, Python, or Node.js Analyze smart contracts and transaction flows to identify potential threats Write custom threat detection logic tailored to our protocols and dApps Maintain and optimize bot infrastructure and alerting pipelines Collaborate with Forta community and core team to contribute to bot best practices Integrate Forta alerts with incident response tools and dashboards Monitor bot performance and ensure low false-positive rates Stay updated on blockchain security trends, exploits, and zero-day vulnerabilities Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or blockchain development Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python Experience with Ethereum (EVM-based) smart contracts and transaction analysis Familiarity with the Forta network, including agent development and deployment Strong understanding of blockchain security threats (e.g., flash loan attacks, reentrancy, MEV) Ability to read and audit Solidity contracts Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong written and verbal communication skills DoD 8140 compliance, CompTIA Security + or higher Must have Active Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Prior contributions to the Forta network (public bot repo or bounty submissions) Experience with blockchain data indexing tools (e.g., The Graph, Alchemy, Ethers.js) Participation in CTFs, bug bounty programs, or open-source security tools Familiarity with Web3 security tools (e.g., Slither, Foundry, MythX) Knowledge of other blockchain platforms (e.g., Solana, L2s)
