Sql Data Architect

Primary Function
The data architect will play an integral role in defining solutions for data projects in support of business and data strategy initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with process teams, systems integrators, and developers to identify requirements and define solutions for all data integration requests. Responsibilities
Specific duties/accountabilities include: Working closely with the process teams, systems integration, and developers to identify solutions for all data and process integration requests for websites, portals, & ERP systems. Supporting data integration/conversion initiatives by being responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models. Defining technical standards, designs, and guidelines for movement of data through the enterprise. Providing guidance and direction for data and process integration projects in support of business initiatives. Performing ETL, ELT operations and administration of data and systems securely and in accordance with enterprise data governance standards. Actively participating in requirements and design meetings for data integration, conversion, & migration initiatives. Creating views and data extracts for archived and legacy data using SSIS & SSRS. Engineering and orchestrating data flows & pipelines. Qualifications
Basic qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related degree with IT experience. Professional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology disciplines. Deep understanding of relational databases, queries, & database programming. Knowledge and experience with: Data quality & analysis. Data migration, integration, & management tools. Data modeling and database design. Data warehousing, BI and analytics. In-depth understanding of database migration principles & experience with the migration of mission critical databases across multiple database platforms. Experience in MSSQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
