Pay:
$55,000 - $60,000 The Consumer Entitlement Accountant is responsible for the financial reporting and routine administration of accounting policies and procedures as they relate to the agency's financial activities. Duties and Responsibilities Records all entitlements received for consumers monthly Manage, maintain, calculate and process monthly client wages, rent, and personal allowance Report client wages to SSI and SSP Complete SSP change reports as necessary Analyze SSI/SSA/SSP income and resolving variances including communication of variances Calculate Journal entries for monthly SSI activity Complete representative payee reports Record all activity for the pooled trust including pcard purchases and check requests Maintain current insurance information Medicare/Medicaid/Private and process Medical bills. Act as bank liaison for all consumer accounts- opening closing, maintaining all accounts Account Reconciliation of all SSI accounts including Rep payee and Community trust accounts Recover funds from consumer accounts as necessary Record and track PreNeed accounts Process SNAP cards and recover funds monthly All other duties as assigned Position Requirements and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred 3 years of Accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel Analytical abilities Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Seniority level
