The responsibility of this position is to increase sales through new business by developing new products, as well as updating and modifying existing ones using new technology research techniques to maintain the current business; positioning McCormick as a leader in innovative flavor solutions within the global food market. Responsibilities: Develop new products that meet our customers' requirements in terms of costs, usage forms, legislation, market trends, and sensory profiles. Research new materials for cost reduction and/or substitution of materials for savings projects. Provide technical support to internal (operations, quality, marketing, etc.) and external (national and global) clients. Maintain the business to ensure the continuity of the operation and meet the product supply to all our customers. Lead or participate in presentations with clients or internal company projects demonstrating technical leadership and knowledge in materials or products related to the business. Sensory evaluations (Participation in flavor releases, discriminative and descriptive tests as a trained judge). Participation in maintenance and compliance with FSSC-22000. Work on continuous improvement of the Innovation area. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. English: intermediate to advanced (oral and written). 3 years of experience in food product research and development, B to B area (preferably development of seasonings for snacks). Knowledge of food ingredients and additives. Knowledge of office software. SAP desirable. General knowledge of regulatory processes.
