Territory Manager
with Marcone Plumbing, you will be responsible for calling on new and existing assigned customers for sales growth, promotional activities, new product introduction, problem resolution, customer training, and developing the dealers business. This role is responsible for territory saturation and sales growth through excellent customer service and the use of company sales tools and systems. The role involves independent customer visits, with the sales manager, in person and via phone. Additionally, this role reports on market competition and other influences on territory sales. This hybrid opportunity allows a Territory Manager to manage their schedule while on the road, offering flexibility to work from home and/or in the office, depending on business needs. The
Territory Manager
will support our
New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine region . Requirements & Duties Provide excellent customer service through consistent and timely interactions, problem resolution, or escalation with effective follow-up Communicate effectively with assigned customers via sales calls, phone, texts, fax, email, mail, and other means Engage in personal interactions with customers, representing strong, ethical standards Grow new accounts and develop customer relationships within the territory Penetrate sales within existing customer accounts and maintain relationships Contact all assigned customers monthly to inform them of relevant information Engage in cold calling activities to maintain a healthy customer pipeline Develop and maintain a pipeline to support new business goals Successfully close sales opportunities Create detailed and organized sales presentations to increase sales Present information effectively to large groups Help customers grow their business through sales processes, understanding financials, and pricing Make critical decisions when necessary Schedule appointments promptly and accurately in the system Maintain organization, discipline, and follow-through in administrative tasks Protect proprietary information and company documents Submit mileage and expense reports timely and accurately Present marketing programs, including promotions and training Demonstrate proficiency in marketing programs and vendor support Complete pricing studies as required Maintain knowledge of product lines and technical materials Assist in collecting outstanding accounts receivable Use company CRM, vendor programs, and ERP systems proficiently Travel as needed and attend training sessions Develop and maintain thorough product knowledge Seek new business opportunities and build customer relationships Communicate progress and goals to the Regional Sales Director Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma and some college coursework in Business or related field 3+ years experience in plumbing or MRO parts sales Experience in B2B sales or a technical background Knowledge of the plumbing industry is a plus Positive, engaging personality with a passion to help others Proficiency in MS Office applications Strong mathematical and numerical analysis skills Tech-savvy Ambitious and competitive Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if necessary Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license What we offer Stability with over 150 years in business Work-life balance Paid training and ongoing coaching Health care coverage from day one Life insurance and disability benefits
