Why You Will Love this Job: As the Master Scheduler you will develop, maintain, analyze and coordinate the Master Production Schedule for the Hattiesburg Engine Location. Participate in the development of the Monthly Forecast and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting materials. Execute the Master Production Schedule to achieve customer service and inventory turn goals. Analyze capacity needs to develop realistic manufacturing schedules and project future demands. Assume primary responsibility of top-level supply chain metrics for the product line. Gives direction and guidance to Production Planner/Schedulers to reduce component stock-out occurrences and impact to production schedules. Specific Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is to improve the top-level metrics in the supply chain and help in the development of the supporting metrics that drive the top levels. Analyze and participate in the development of the Monthly Orders Forecast for parts and finished goods for Supply Chain and Production personnel. Execute the master production schedules to support customer on-time delivery and inventory turn goals. Coordinate production changes with Supply Chain and Manufacturing personnel. Analyze with Supply Chain and Production Management regarding capacity to ensure realistic schedules that meet our customer on-time delivery metrics. Participate in the development of the Operations Monthly Planning Meeting presentation. Provide specific information to senior management to properly manage the plant. Execute the decisions from the Operations meeting. Report and coordinate improvement to weekly performance and status of critical items and aging orders. Coordinate production start-up of new products with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering Change Board, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing to control obsolescence exposure of products to begin discontinuing. Analyze and recommend specific products to produce and improve both flexibility and customer service. Work with Customer and Vendor base to eliminate scheduling conflicts and assure parts delivery to satisfy customer and operational needs. Participate in the implementation of SAP. Participate in integration tests and determine functionality. Provide training to users, problem solving and answer questions from users. Investigate potential errors. Participate with Operations to develop Subassembly and Machining Component production schedules. Continue with self-development through training programs, seminars, and self-study. Participate in annual physical inventory as required. Ensure applicable product compliance requirements are upheld including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, California Code of Regulation and California Health and Safety Code. Perform other assignments as directed by Manager. Frequent contact with all levels of Operations Management, Production Planning and Inventory Control personnel. Frequent contact with Marketing, Customer Service, New Product Timing, Manufacturing Support, and Plant Managers. Occasional contact with Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, and Systems personnel. Develops working relationships with vendors and customers. Requirements

Associate's degree in related field Minimum 4 years' experience in Production Planning Good verbal and written communication skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Some statistical knowledge Demonstrated leadership Project management and process improvement skills Works well with senior leadership Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff personnel Must be tactful and persuasive with supervisory potential Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
