Senior Solutions Architect II (Pharmacy Automated Fulfillment)

Job Summary: The Senior Solutions Architect II position establishes enterprise-wide architecture principles and reusable integration patterns. Leads architecture design across multiple programs or departments and ensures solutions meet scalability, compliance, security, and cost goals. Develops and/or oversees architectural documentation and knowledge sharing. Aligns cross-department automation initiatives for consistent architecture. Oversees integration strategy evolution across internal and external systems. Leads vendor and partner ecosystem management at enterprise scale. Collaborates closely with enterprise security and compliance teams, manages integration risk and ensure business continuity planning and fosters collaboration across multiple teams for seamless integrations. Drives architecture governance, compliance, and risk management processes; leads architecture training and mentorship programs. Represents architecture function externally at industry forums and conferences, influences IT governance and investment decision making. Leads continuous improvement in architecture practices and tools. Job Responsibility: Conceptualizes the overall design documents that ensure consistency in development across the Technology organization. Participates in the definition of technical architecture to ensure that the Technology organization's solutions are built within a consistent framework. Designs and defines system architecture and solutions for integrating multiple platforms, operating systems, cloud and applications. Participates in the decision-making processes related to the selection of architecture solutions. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Serves as a technical and business-savvy resource to engineering on a range of software design issues. Implements and improves core systems and/or software infrastructure. Participates in improving software development lifecycle, technical operations and technology innovation. Participates in developing technical / business approaches and new or enhanced technical tools. Shares complex information related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology / business solutions. Effectively resolves problems and roadblocks as they occur. May perform systems and applications performance characterization and trade-off studies through analysis and simulation. Leads the daily work of assigned work group / team. Recommends modifications to the daily operations of the assigned work group / team. Makes needed adjustments to short-term priorities. Owns a functional area. Breaks large requests down into sub-tasks, gives higher-level status updates. Writes test plans. Takes operational responsibility. Sets measurable goals, and meets them. Reviews code changes. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Interacts with direct team of accountability, peers and/or managers in other teams. May interact with vendors and/or customers to share information and improve workflow processes. May design specifications of assigned projects and may lead in implementation. Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of the professional function and advanced in-depth specialization in some. External Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in a technical engineering and/or architecture role OR High school / GED and at least 7 years of experience in a technical engineering and/or architecture role At least 3 years of leadership experience in server side or client side technologies Experience in domain-specific architecture concepts and emerging technologies. (Design patterns, frameworks, current Java based solutions, mobile, OR Infrastructure Administration OR Data Sciences) Experience creating and promoting guiding development principles and influencing development teams, business users and management in adoption of technical solutions. At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace. At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership. Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field preferred. 8+ years of solutions design experience as a Software Architect for a large enterprise highly preferred. 5 years experience in distributed systems architecture (microservices), integration technologies, leading architecture across multiple business domains are highly preferred. Experience working in cloud (azure and data bricks) platform, experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, compliance and data privacy for pharmacy nice to have. Experience with any application that interfaces with robotic Software is preferred. Ability to communicate and collaborate with tech and non-tech stakeholders. Prior experience with Pharmacy automated fulfillment nice to have.
