Description
Under the direction of the Oncology Service Line Director, the Women's Imaging and Breast Care Service Manager is responsible for the coordination of multiple imaging, surgical and breast care service to provide a seamless service line to our patients and referring physicians. The WIC manager will lead the center to NAPBC Accreditation and provide daily operational oversight to maintain accreditation and consistently seek improved operational performance.
Position Requirements
Education: Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program. Bachelor's degree in business or health related field preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of mammography experience required. In addition, at least 2 years of supervisory experience in Imaging required; or 2 years of mammography experience may substitute for supervisory experience. Preferred supervisory experience to include: Direct supervision of a of two FTE's, previous JCAHO preparation and inspection, specific experience with OSHA and state regulatory agencies, fiscal responsibility for preparation and monitoring of operational budgets, policies and procedures, protocol implementation, vendor negotiations, equipment installation, hospital committee work, reimbursement and coding applications. Certifications/Licenses:
ARRT Registered Mammography Technologist SCRQSA certification required. BLS required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association)
