BD . The ideal candidate will live in or near Des Moines, Iowa. This role covers Iowa, South Dakota and parts of Nebraska, with weekly overnight travel expected. The Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices, and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance. About the Role

BD Interventional (BDI) focuses on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions, aiming to advance treatment of high-burden diseases and enable surgical and interventional procedures. Key Job Responsibilities Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts. Informs customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies. Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals. Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively. Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data. Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity. Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints. Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions. Maintains company automobile and company property. Completes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to sales summary reports, expense reports, and monthly tracking audit reports.

Required Experience And Education

Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of outside sales experience At least 2 years of outside sales experience Detailed understanding of needs/analysis selling Familiar with medical and surgical terminology Comprehensive understanding of contract administration Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards

Preferred Experience And Education

Bachelor's degree Medical device sales experience 4+ years of outside sales experience
