Job Description:
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer with deep expertise in the Playwright automation framework across multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#).
• You will contribute to the migration of the existing Selenium-Java-based framework (using TestNG, Maven, and Page Object Model) to a modern, multi-language Playwright-based automation framework
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright in multi-language environments.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• You will perform code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers on best automation practices.
• You will ensure the scalability and reliability of test automation across different environments and platforms.
• You will continuously improve automation efficiency
• Good exposure to using AI agents to help in migrating existing Selenium-Java-based scripts to the Playwright framework.
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent • 7- 10 years of experience as a QA Engineer or SDET • 5 years working with test processes methodologies, tools and technology • Automation experience working with technologies Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET, etc • SQL and the ability to write complex queries to validate • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for automation technologies, driving the adoption of efficient and scalable testing solutions • Leads process technology improvement efforts within the quality engineering team and a larger part of the organization • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where resourcefulness, determination, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success • Positive attitude and the ability to complete assigned objectives with minimal supervision • Shown leadership experience in leading the release project delivery
Preferred Knowledge and Skills • Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field • Excellent understanding of CI CD DevOps practices and how the QA automation process fits into the model • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Playwright, Appium, Xcode, Selenium TestNG BDD frameworks, Cucumber, Saucelabs, etc • Prior experience working as QA or SDET in Agile Scrum teams • Financial Industry experience is a plus • Good exposure of Agentic AI solutions • Proficient in SQL, able to understand and write complex SQL queries • Experience with code versioning tools Git, SVN • Good understanding of cloud Azure AWS
