Senior Staff Accountant
Irving, TX- Fully Onsite Compensation:
$70k-$90k + bonus (depending on experience) Position Summary: One of Vacos $15B+ publicly traded clients is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience doing journal entries, reconciliations, and the ability to work with large data sets and dive into variances. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Partner with cross-functional teams to address financial reporting and operational issues. Contribute to process improvements and automation to streamline financial workflows. Requirements: 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in general ledger and financial reporting. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
