Client Service AssociateNashville, TNThe Client Service Associate delivers exceptional, solutions-oriented service to advisors and clients, and they are viewed as an important extension of the advisory team. The Client Service Associate acts as the primary contact and resource for all operational and service-related requests, ensuring timely and accurate execution. This role partners closely with custodian partners and internal Focus Partners teams to provide a seamless service and operations experience.Success in this role requires excellent client communication skills, an ownership mindset, and the ability to manage multiple timelines and a variety of requests with ranging complexity. Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM is essential for tracking and managing client cases and requests. As part of a dynamic Client Service team, the Client Service Associate collaborates daily with teammates across Client Service, Operations, and the broader organization.Duties may fluctuate with season volumes, market volatility, and team coverage, so flexibility and adaptability are critical. Occasional overtime may be required. Attention to detail, taking initiative and being proactive, successful problem solving, and consistent follow-through are essential to be successful in this role. This role requires in-office attendance during business hours at our designated Company location.This role is based in Nashville, TNPrimary Responsibilities:Assisting clients and the wealth management team with preparation of account applications, asset-transfer forms, client-specific requests at various custodians (e.g., check requests, distributions); and communicating with the company's custodians and initiating proactive follow-through on such action pointsAssisting the compliance and the wealth management teams with internal compliance and external requirements necessary for new accounts and assetsPreparing and updating financial schedules and analyses, client presentations, and client meeting agendasDrafting and processing correspondence to clients and communicating with clients by telephone and emailInteracting with spreadsheet-driven reports for the wealth management team and the company's clientsMaintaining electronic and physical records and files in an orderly fashion and updating client information into the company's databases; andPrepare, generate, and deliver quarterly reportsQualifications:A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2+ years administrative experience in financial or professional servicesFamiliarity with brokerage or registered investment advisory firm operationsStrong mathematical aptitude; superb written and verbal communication skillsModerate understanding of investment products and investment operations is desiredSolid analytical skills and attention to detail and organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and proven ability to learn other software and technologyNotable attention to detail, self-initiated follow-through, and outstanding time management and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to juggle multiple and competing tasks and demandsThe annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000 - $65,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
