Shipping/Receiving Coordinator
Join a dynamic team as a 1st shift Shipping/Receiving Coordinator at a leading global supplier in Dewitt, Iowa. Process bills of lading, purchase orders, and all necessary documentation for domestic orders. Follow DOT, IATA, and IMO procedures for hazardous material transportation. Retrieve and send product SDS Sheets and Certifications to customers. Interpret instructions from shippers and government bodies. Prepare and complete export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and dangerous goods forms. Obtain and negotiate rates for air, ground, and ocean shipments. Analyze and select the best carriers for shipping products. Schedule shipments by contacting carriers through calls or emails. Maintain relationships with regulatory freight forwarders, vendors, and customer service departments. Make shipping arrangements by communicating with freight forwarders and detailing necessary shipment information. Contribute to Import/Export Custom Compliance audits and meetings. Resolve freight and trucking claims. Implement the latest shipping documents. Learn and implement UPS procedures and verify regulations. Assist the Shipping Manager/Supervisor in continuous improvement of Safety Risk Assessment. Essential Skills
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel). Experience in shipping documentation. Skills in inventory control and logistics. Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
