STATUS: Seasonal/Temporary

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required
Some college coursework preferred
Able to support the mission of The Salvation Army
Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion
Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
Proficient computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, R2R, & Internet
Must have a Valid AZ Driver’s License and an insured vehicle and a clean driving record
Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to work flexible hours
Required to be available to work full time from September through December
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate between Territorial Headquarters and local Corps regarding contracts and agreements, scheduling meetings as required to ensure clear understanding of contractual requirements.
Recruit and coordinate volunteers for divisional campaign & local corps locations
Work with Corps Officers to find the best and most productive locations for kettles
Learn and work with the Christmas Kettle software, Register to Ring; train other kettle coordinators to efficiently useall facets of the software
Foster and maintain a good rapport with all business and community partners, ensuring appropriate contracts and agreements are current
Maintain and ensure the proper recording and reporting of all campaign income and statistics
Represent The Salvation Army in a professional manner at all times
Work closely throughout the Division to arrange Kettle events, special promotional events, and media coverage of the campaign
Other duties as assigned as related to the seasonal kettle campaign.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
