To provide customers with the highest quality service by ensuring consistent customer service and timely resolution, facilitating the inbound or outbound movement of freight/cargo. May proactively lead and guide team members to achieve operational objectives. Responsibilities include: Providing impeccable customer service. Preparing, analyzing, and submitting documentation to U.S. Customs, agents, and clients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Anticipating, identifying, and resolving issues that could delay freight release or movement. Maintaining relationships with brokers, T&B, and other service providers to meet or exceed customer service requirements. Resolving banking and letter of credit issues. Advising customers on payment terms and obtaining payment on delinquent accounts. Completing accounting adjustments and resolving billing issues. Accurately inputting and correcting data in computer systems. Performing root cause analysis as directed. Managing post-entry activities and entry verification processes. Accessing external client systems as needed. Corresponding with business partners via written, phone, or email communications. Producing operational trend reports and keeping partners informed of exceptions. Handling pre-alerts and maintaining knowledge of FedEx products/services. Interacting with customers, staff, and management at all levels. Supporting account management activities and performing entry reconciliation. Building strong relationships with front-line personnel. Supporting customs trade processes for small office structures. Facilitating entry processing and exception resolution. Performing other duties as assigned. Paid training provided. Minimum qualifications: HS Diploma or GED. At least 24 months of brokerage, transportation, or customer service experience. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment. Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive work independently or in a team. Knowledge of HTS classification, harmonized tariff system, and U.S. Customs regulations. Preferred qualifications: The shift is M-F 8am-5pm. This position is hybrid, allowing some work from home and some onsite at our Jamaica, NY office. Compensation:

$16.86 - $32.04 per hour, with a typical starting salary of $24.45 for external candidates. Additional benefits include health, vision, dental, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
