Houston, Texas Hybrid What you will be doing Act as a technical advisor and trusted partner to customers, providing expertise on natural gas quality and compliance for process analyzers and related products (e.g., gas chromatographs, moisture analyzers, HS analyzers, BTU analyzers, TDLAS). Support the sales team by delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, engineering firms, and system integrators. Maintain a strong understanding of natural gas and green energy industry standards (e.g., AGA, GPA, API), regulatory requirements (e.g., EPA, FERC), and pipeline specifications. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, applications, production) to develop system configurations and sample system designs. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences.
What you must have
Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical field. 35+ years of experience in technical sales or field engineering, ideally involving gas analyzers or process instrumentation. Strong knowledge of natural gas processes (e.g., gathering, processing, transportation, LNG, CO? sequestration) and measurement points (e.g., custody transfer, dew point, calorific value). Proven success in B2B technical sales using a consultative selling approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, data sheets, and technical specifications.
