District Painter (Per Diem) 2025/26

The East Irondequoit Central School District is looking for a Per Diem Painter.

Hours are flexible and may include evenings and weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.

Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Collaborate with maintenance staff to prioritize painting needs across the district.

Assist with touch-ups, graffiti removal, and seasonal refresh projects.

Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid Driver's License

Previous painting experience preferred (residential, commercial, or institutional).

Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
