Days/Hours of Work: Monday - FridayJob SummaryA Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize the overall performance and competitiveness of a company's supply chain. Their main role involves identifying improvement opportunities, and designing strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, resilience, and customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities Leads the Supply Chain replenishment team responsible for purchasing and replenishing full goods. Strategic Planning: Developing supply chain strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives, considering factors such as market dynamics, customer demands, and competitive landscape. S&OP Process Facilitation: Provide support and guidance to the leaders and content contributors of each S&OP routine. Responsible for monitoring and providing feedback on each S&OP routine to ensure the meetings and processes are being conducted according to the process design. Supply Chain Analysis: Conducting comprehensive analysis of the existing supply chain network, processes, and performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic initiatives. Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborating with procurement teams to develop strategies for supplier selection, development, and performance management, ensuring a robust and reliable supplier base. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Engaging with internal stakeholders, such as executives, operations, finance, and marketing, to align supply chain strategies with their requirements and gain support for implementation. Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities within the supply chain, such as disruptions, capacity constraints, or supplier dependencies, and developing risk mitigation strategies. Network Design and Optimization: Assessing the optimal configuration of the supply chain network, including distribution centers, warehouses, transportation routes, and production facilities, to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and improve service levels. Change Management: Facilitating the implementation of supply chain strategies, including change management initiatives, training programs, and communication plans to ensure successful adoption and execution. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required, or a minimum of five years of progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required. Previous supervisory or management experience required. Prior experience working with planning systems and procurement software. Strong understanding of supply chain activities and the related dependencies to other functions. Proven ability to lead and direct others in a fast-changing environment. Working knowledge of inventory and capacity management methodologies. Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal as well as strong presentation skills. Capable of driving change, cross-functionally, utilizing project management approaches and concepts.
