Crew Chief Opportunity At Servpro Of West Fort Bend County
Servpro Of West Fort Bend County is hiring a Crew Chief to join our growing team. As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO brand, the Crew Chief demonstrates the company's Here To Help commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. You will manage and complete jobs according to SERVPRO processes. Respond to service calls, set up and establish efficient job flow, coordinate requirements for the job, complete job documentation, perform and supervise production work, and monitor assigned jobs from start to finish. Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects Communicate with restoration project manager and office staff on project progress and issues Explain processes and answer customer questions, as needed Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns to ensure customer needs are met Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers Resolve problems quickly as they arise Manage job file documentation to ensure complete and accurate project details Manage and control costs of production projects Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas Perform sales and marketing activities, including add-on sales and security checks Additional Responsibilities:
Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety Manage assets by protecting and using vehicles, equipment and materials properly Coach and train technicians and temporary workers Position Requirements:
Valid driver's license High school diploma/GED (preferred) At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction IICRC WRT certification REQUIRED , ASD certification DESIRED Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies:
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics) Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces under buildings) Ability to work with/around cleaning agents Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces under buildings) Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Ability to work alone as well as with a team Each SERVPRO Franchise is Independently Owned and Operated.
