CULTA is currently looking for our next Post Harvest Lead to join our dedicated Post Harvest team in Cambridge, MD! The Post Harvest Team Lead oversees the packaging staff and the order shipment for the Cultivation facility. These duties consist of a variety of administrative, organizational tasks. They are responsible for supervising all CULTA's packaging employee's and operations including: Order shipment, manifesting, invoicing, and assisting in weighing of cannabis flower. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to the daily packaging schedule to ensure efficiency goals are achieved Oversee packaging laborers, implementing all aspects of packaging and labeling policies and procedures Monitors the activities of Packaging laborers to ensure that all employees scheduled are in attendance and manages all required breaks and meal periods The individual assists in the training of packaging department laborers on packaging filling equipment operations and other packaging procedures Verifies that all necessary equipment needed is ready, clean, and in working order prior to the start of the shift. Notifies supervisor when repairs or adjustments to filling equipment are needed Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance with focus on continuous improvement. Communicates with the Metrc Coordinator when supplies are needed. Monitors the cleaning and packaging logs are completed and notifies the Metrc Coordinator when they are complete for each month. Reports abnormalities in flower batches and unit-based inventory for quality control check Ensure no diversion of cannabis products occur and report and incidents or suspicions of diversion Notifies the Inventory Manager and Packaging Supervisor regarding returned or rejected product Maintain sanitation and quality control practices that ensure the safety and quality of cannabis during the packaging and labeling process Manifests orders, creates package tags and invoices for the cultivation shipments Coordinates with the Packaging Supervisor and Inventory Manager on what batches are ready for sale Communicates with the Packaging Supervisor on when orders are ready for shipment Completes packaging log daily. Runs team for the outdoor fresh frozen process. Works with third-party testing to ensure that test samples and tags are correct and can be manifested to the third-party testing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience in a position with packaging and/or labeling responsibilities. Thorough understanding of state and local medical cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of CULTA. Ability to comprehend complex legislation and apply implications on the operations of CULTA. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Effective time- management and ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Analytically and communicatively intelligent. Must be able to work onsite. Attention to detail. May not have a violent felony conviction or drug related offense.
