Business Development Representative (BDR)ClassificationExemptJob SummaryAs a BDR, you will play a crucial role in maximizing lead generation of warehouse solutions encompassing dock/door, floor cleaning, racking/automation as well as material handling product within a designated territory. This position involves cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and providing strategic solutions to enhance the company's market position.Essential Functions As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at our dealership, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth. You will be responsible for promoting our various product and service offerings with a heavy emphasis in Short-Term rental with new business and client's expanding within our the Texas market. Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email marketing, networking, and other outbound prospecting and lead generation strategies. Nurture relationships with potential clients, responding to inquiries, and providing introductory information about our warehouse solutions. Learn and develop essential sales skills, including negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking. Track and report on leads and sales activities, maintaining up-to-date information in the company's ERP system. Collaborate closely with associated CORE and Account sales team members to ensure a smooth transition of leads into the sales pipeline. Generating qualified meetings with influencers and decision makers from prescribed list of prospects given, or a specific physical area to cover. Highlight our specific value to their operation/industry after conducting research.Qualifications Prior sales experience and/or training preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
