Job DescriptionUp to $2,500 Sign On BonusTriHealth is actively recruiting for our Butler and Montgomery Rheumatology teamJob Overview:This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. This position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. Tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.Job Requirements:Graduate of an approved technical, professional ,or vocational programRegistered Medical Assistant (RMA), through AMT, NCCT, or NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Current, active RN or LPN licensure, or Respiratory Therapists or Technician credential, is also acceptableEKG Injections Venipuncture Performance of common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy 1-2 years experience in a physician office or related settingJob Responsibilities:Provides support to physicians/clinical staff.Skillfully performs/obtains tests and specimens assuring proper departmental procedures are followedPerforms technical skills according to hospital's and department's policies/procedures, appropriate competencies, and accepted standards of practice.Maintains a high level of efficiency, organization, and time management skills to promote efficiency in the Medical Center. Shows the ability to function successfully with minimal supervision.Demonstrates strong written, verbal and phone skills. Demonstrates courtesy, respect toward patients, professionals, and team members. Notifies appropriate team members of abnormal test results or emergent situationsAccurately documents patient care in chart, maintains confidentiality of patient records and files appropriate documentation in patient chartAccurately and safely maintains general appearance and cleanliness of exam rooms, supply areas, and nurses station.
