Network Administrator
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our IT team. This individual will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure reliable performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network hardware, software, and security protocols, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs. Install, configure, and manage network hardware and software. Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls. Perform regular system monitoring, backup operations, and disaster recovery testing. Troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues, outages, and connectivity problems. Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and system integrations. Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, standards, and procedures. Stay current on emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols. Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment. Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux server environments.
