Job Title: RF Technician

Location: Lancaster, PA

Rate: $17/hr

Job Description: As an RF Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of radio frequency (RF) equipment and systems. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our RF infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality RF solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain RF equipment and systems, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, and other related components. Conduct site surveys and RF propagation tests to assess signal strength, interference, and coverage areas. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of RF equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to RF equipment, including signal interference, frequency drift, and equipment malfunctions. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and optimize RF networks for maximum efficiency and coverage. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment procurement, installation, and maintenance projects. Document all activities, including installation procedures, maintenance records, and troubleshooting steps, in accordance with company guidelines. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an RF Technician or in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications industry. Proficiency in RF testing and measurement equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters. Strong understanding of RF principles, including frequency bands, modulation techniques, and antenna theory. Experience with RF system design, installation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing RF communications (e.g., FCC regulations). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed. Benefits:
