Operate a forklift to load and unload inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers. Sort freight according to size and destination. Read, decode, and decipher freight coding for efficient freight movement and tracing. Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests. Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the dock by performing cleanup activities. Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports. Essential Skills
Forklift operation experience required. Packing, inventory, production, loading, and material handling skills. Proficiency in using pallet jacks and RF scanners. Experience in sit-down forklift operation and order picking. Work Environment This entry-level position operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a rotating day shift schedule from 3am to 3pm. Candidates must be comfortable with repetitive lifting and the use of technology such as RF scanners. Safety is paramount, and protective gear is provided to ensure a secure work environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
