This role offers you the chance to work on cutting-edge mechanical designs for small power transformers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. How You'll Make an Impact: Prepare mechanical designs and develop project based small power transformers' drawings for manufacturing. Utilize advanced CAD/Creo software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Ensure designs meet engineering quality standards and project requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including customers and suppliers. Conduct peer reviews and design reviews. Evaluate and apply standard techniques for transformer layout design. Coordinate with electrical engineers to generate manufacturing drawings. Adhere to safety standards and mitigate potential risks. Your Background: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of modeling and drafting experience (internships and co-ops considered). Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Experience in design engineering of power products preferred. Proficiency in CAD/Creo and 3D modeling tools. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
