Weoffer competitive wages!If you want to work in a fun and friendly environment where the company values integrity, transparency, loyalty, and entrepreneurship, apply today!As a certified Great Place to Work for 8 years in a row, AgeWell Solvere Living proudly offers:Medical, Dental and Vision benefitsCompany-paid Life Insurance and Voluntary DisabilityPaid Time off and Holidays401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company matchGenerous Paid Time Off PlanManagement Incentive Plan EligibilityJob SummaryThe Wellness Associate reports to the Wellness Director and the Wellness Manager and provides services and care to each Resident based on the individual Resident Service Plan.Essential Functions:Assists Residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility if neededMaintains an awareness of each Resident's general state of physical and mental health and reports any changes at once to the Wellness DirectorKeeps an inventory of medical supplies on hand and assists with ordering when necessaryAssists with finding shift coverage when unexpected call outs occurDevelops and helps maintain assignments for the Wellness DirectorAssists in orienting and on-boarding of new Wellness AssociatesResponds to Resident emergencies; provides first-aid and arranges for appropriate medical follow-upAssists Residents in keeping their units clean, neat, and orderlyAnswers calls for assistance and attends to Resident needs promptlyAssists Residents with clothing and laundry needs if instructed to do soAssists Residents with meal selection, service, and feeding as assignedAssists with activity program as assignedMaintains records according to policyMaintains files as neededParticipates in a minimum of 6 hours in-service education per yearCarries out other duties as assignedCompliance and Safety:Follows all emergency proceduresUnderstands all safety policies and proceduresCommunication:Communicates effectively with Wellness Director and other staffImmediately advises and Wellness Director and/or Wellness Manager of any changes in physical and mental health of ResidentEducation/Experience/Licensure/Certification:Current State Nurse's Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIREDExperience and passion in working with seniorsAble to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 poundsAble to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, their families, peers, and other staff membersIn good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseasesPhysical Requirements:Physically able to bend and reachPhysically able to push and pull and lift up to 60 pounds at timesPhysically able to stand for extended periods of timeCould be required to use a Hoyer LiftMiscellaneous:May be required to work weekends and holidays as assignedMay be required to work on shifts other than the one for which hiredMay be required to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per day)Subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including HIV,AIDS, and Hepatitis B and C virusesCould be subject to hostile and emotionally upset Residents due to mental statusBackground, criminal, and drug tests may be requiredMay be asked to submit to random drug test during employmentMay have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertisingMay be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartments
