Obtaining and recording patient medical records Coordinating scheduling, patient check in, check out, patient phone calls, patient medical record maintenance Taking vitals, reviewing medical history with patient, confirming purpose of visit and treatment Prepping treatment rooms for exams and assisting practitioners with procedures and patient care Preparing lab specimens and performing basic laboratory tests, performing bladder exams, sterilize medical instruments, administering medications, authorizing drug refills as directed, drawing blood Talking with patients over the phone Ensuring compliance within all health care regulations (HIPAA and OSHA) Additional skills and qualifications: Need to be certified medical assistant 1+ years of experience is preferred Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr. 401K, 401K matching, dental, health, PTO, paid holidays, profit sharing, vision insurance Workplace type: This is a fully onsite position in Clive, IA.
