The California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking a highly qualified Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) to serve within the Network Management Services section of the Enterprise Network. The Network Engineer works with other Network Specialists and Network Associates, as well as Telecommunications Engineers in the Network Engineering Unit. A successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with data and some voice networking components. The ITS IIs duties will include, but are not limited to: Work on engineering network solutions Assist with architecture and design Network planning and projects Day-to-day maintenance, operational tasks, and respond to incidents.
