ETL Developer III
ETL Developer III is responsible for developing, configuring, coding, testing and debugging new software solutions. Serves as a lead technical resource in the development and delivery of data-oriented solutions to support critical business needs. Principle Responsibilities: Develop, test and implement enterprise data movement/migration (ETL and CDC) solutions Address system defects and implements enhancements to existing functionality Develop effort estimates for assigned application software implementation activities Develop project plans for application software implementation activities of low to medium level of complexity Develop strong software vendor and business partner relationships to resolve problems and coordinate the delivery of IT products and services Maintain productive working relationships with project sponsors and key systems users Mentor junior developers in development techniques and standards Participates in the definition of application scope and objectives through research and fact finding Review and approves code of other developers Troubleshoot issues with negligible guidance, identifies bottlenecks in existing data workflows and provides solutions for a scalable, defect-free application Work with data architects and staff engineers to develop data designs and standards Work with onshore/offshore team to analyze, develop and improve ETL run times as well as produce accurate defect free code Provide Tier 3 support and resolution of open IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support Support production environment in the event of issues Provide performance tuning insight to project team and creates reusable objects and templates Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related field 6 years of experience in IT operations and support performing ETL using the Informatica tool set 5 years of experience working on large data initiatives (>5 terabytes) 3 years of experience with at least three of the following: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Teradata, IBM, and Informatica modules (IDQ, PowerCenter, MDM, and ETL) 3 years of experience with at least two of the following: SQLServer, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MarkLogic, Denodo, AWS 3 years of experience with at least 2 of the following Informatica modules: PowerCenter CDC ETL workflows IDQ MDM Hub: Configuration, Validation rules IDD: Configuration, Validation rules The role may presently be performed remotely in the State of Arizona, but this is subject to change.
