Recognized as one of the premier technology integrators in Texas, they provide turnkey solutions across Network Cabling, Audio/Video, and Electronic Security verticals-making them a top choice for complex commercial and institutional projects throughout the state.Industrial Fiber Optic Technician Job Description: •Pulling and routing fiber optic cable in industrial conduit systems and cable trays.•Performing mechanical and fusion splicing of single-mode and multi-mode fiber.•Terminating LC, SC, and ST connectors with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications.•Testing fiber optic cable using OTDR, power meters, and light sources to verify continuity and performance.•Reading and interpreting blueprints, riser diagrams, and detailed fiber documentation.•Adhering to strict safety standards and protocols, including confined space and high-elevation procedures.•Installing and labeling patch panels, fiber enclosures, and wall-mounted termination boxes.•Using fiber inspection scopes and cleaning kits to ensure high-performance terminations.•Troubleshooting signal loss, connector damage, and network disruptions.•Working with BICSI and TIA/EIA installation standards for structured cabling systems.•Familiarity with color code standards and proper bend radius handling for fiber installations.•Experience using Fluke and EXFO fiber testing equipment for diagnostics and reporting.Basic Requirement: •Must be able to Travel full time. Work schedule: Mon-Fri COME HOME ON WEEKENDS- Travel Expenses and daily per diem will be included •Must have a Valid Driver's License and own transportation.•Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. •Must be able to work a flexible schedule. •Must have all hand/power tools required.
