Responsibilities:
Conduct statistical modeling on large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations; apply statistical techniques to large datasets. (20%)
Develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize energy consumption and improve energy efficiency. (20%)
Perform data extraction, cleaning, and transformation to prepare datasets for machine learning and statistical analysis. (15%)
Work closely with product managers and customer success teams to analyze and refine data models and visualizations. (10%)
Collaborate with software engineers to implement and deploy data-driven solutions. (15%)
Engage with customers to understand data needs, generate insights, and develop new data solutions. (10%)
Present technical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers. (5%)
Work with machine learning models, statistical programming, and cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure). (5%)
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Information Management, Management and Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Two (2) years of related experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Experience with applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making in optimization and forecasting.
Proven ability to develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to improve energy efficiency and operational performance.
Experience with data extraction, cleaning, and transformation using SQL and Python.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine data models, create visualizations, and deploy data solutions.
Proficiency with cloud-based data solutions (AWS and Azure) and statistical programming.

Work from home up to 50%.
Must reside in the metro area of Raleigh, NC.
