LHH is working with a fast-growing commercial real estate firm specializing in the retail space. As the company continues to grow and expand their retail portfolio, they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager with expertise in CAM reconciliations to join their finance team. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of retail properties, with a focus on CAM reconciliation and financial reporting. Job Requirements: Ownership for the integrity, accuracy, and informational quality of financial data. Coordinate or review monthly financial statement close, to include but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements and partner reporting packages as needed. Assist Financial Planning and Analysis as needed in the analytical review and presentation for annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts. Coordinate or assist with accounts receivable analysis and research. Coordinate or assist with review entry of leases/lease amendments to determine financial impact is consistent with intent; including impact on recoveries. Coordinate or assist with sales tax filings. Coordinate or assist with annual audit with external auditors as required by lender or management agreements. Coordinate loan compliance reporting to include preparation/compilation of financials and debt covenant calculations. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting, preferably within the retail real estate industry. Extensive knowledge of full cycle accounting principles and practices.
