Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Design and develop control algorithms for electric vehicle systems using model-based design tools such as MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow.
Develop vehicle control functions/logic for driving dynamics and vehicle dynamics with Simulink and C-code.
Experience integrating control algorithms with tools like CarSim/CarMaker to develop and validate control functions.
Create control documentation, software requirements & implement them into the controllers/vehicles.
Requirements engineering, design, coding up to testing their software on test-benches and/or on the real vehicle.
Develop Software Unit test & HiL test procedures and tools.
Develop automotive software solutions in an Agile development practice.
Education And Qualifications
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Control Systems or related field required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry; with focus on developing vehicle control systems for powertrain or chassis systems.
Control related training or certifications (preferred).
Prior experience in the automotive industry and autonomous driving is a strong plus.
Skills And Competencies
Strong MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow knowledge.
Strong knowledge of control theory and PID implementation.
