Children of Destiny is seeking a Teacher Assistant professional to support its Pre-K Counts Program located in Southwest Philadelphia. We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to join our team of professionals who make a positive difference in children's lives every day. The Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher assist in providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities:

Assists the teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children: (meet physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs). -

Assists in providing activities for young children: (songs, games, stories, puppet play, arts, science, and math) to engage in learning and imaginative play.

Builds children's self-esteem and social skills and assists in maintaining classroom control.

Requirements: * Associate's Degree from an accredited College/University in Early Childhood Education, CDA, Special Education, or Elementary Education. * Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children. * Must be able to obtain Child Abuse, State Police, FBI Fingerprints, and NSOR Verification.
