Executive Compensation and Employee Benefit Attorney Associate position in New York. This search is confidential. Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate incentive compensation plans, separation and restrictive covenant agreements, and deferred compensation and equity arrangements. Establish and maintain Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), conduct 280G analyses, and identify issues under 409A, ERISA, and complex labor laws. Collaborate closely with corporate teams to provide advice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and leveraged buy-outs. Assist management teams in negotiating compensation or severance packages. Qualifications
At least two years of law firm experience in the Executive Compensation/Employee Benefits space. Experience with ESOP work is a big plus. Employment type
