Primary Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day environmental projects, including developing scopes of work and cost estimates, ensuring project objectives, standards, policies, and procedures are met, and implementing projects within scope and budget. Serve as a technical resource, mentor staff, and focus on delivering high-quality services that meet and exceed client expectations. Qualifications include 6-10 years of experience in: Site Investigations related to Illinois EPA programs Phase I/II ESAs Environmental monitoring and statistical analysis under RCRA regulations Risk-Based Corrective Action and remediation Regulatory communication Regulatory reporting and documentation UST closures Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Geological Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related; Masters preferred LPG or EIT in Illinois; PE preferred Understanding of Illinois EPAs SRP, LUST, TACO, and RCRA regulations Experience with proposal development, project scopes, budgets, schedules Strong communication, leadership, scheduling, and technical writing skills 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred Knowledge of health and safety protocols The selected candidate will manage environmental project tasks, delegate responsibilities, and support team and business development goals, working closely with senior staff in a team environment.
