Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Specialist Status: Hourly Department: LV Logistics Reports To: Logistics Manager Position summary:
Safely and accurately performs Shipping and/or Receiving tasks as assigned. Responsibilities
Maintain safe working environment and work practices. Complete safety training on-time and in full. Initiate shipping process in SAP (Release, print, route, report orders) and follow through to completion. Route shipments in OTM as necessary. Communicate with carriers and customer carriers via Email, phone or internet portal (for Collect shipments). Communicate with Export team and forwarder to coordinate export shipments. Communicate discrepancies to Customer Service and Supervisor for resolution. Pick customer orders in accordance with published work instructions and facility guidelines. Transport material within facility and place in/remove from SAP storage locations via RF scanner or system transactions. Create and perform cycle counts as assigned, to include entry of results and communication of variances. Receive material (physically and systemically) when necessary or assigned. Perform replenishment tasks (physically and systemically) as necessary or assigned. Maintain shipping KPI reports. Maintain assigned housekeeping tasks. Other related tasks as assigned. Essential skills and experience
Knowledge of Bostik finished goods and raw materials. Thorough knowledge of SAP system used at Bostik facilities
Shipment reporting Warehouse Management Inventory transactions
Computer expertise to include MSOffice and SAP. Forklift usage to include sit-down and reach-truck type vehicles. Ability to multi-task. Self-motivated and able to work independently as necessary. Physical demands and work environment
