And under this roof, we protect what matters most.Job SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling the Siplast portfolio of building enclosure solutions which may include wall control, green and amenity and liquid solutions and all aspects of general administration within his/her district. This role engages with owner/developers, construction and enclosure consultants, architects, specifiers, distributors, and installing contractors to provide significant technical advice and guidance in their design, specification, and installation processes. This includes identifying project opportunities, generating and disseminating leads, deepening the customer network, providing professional learning units, and demonstrating products. This role will be accountable for influencing the key decision-makers in the commercial construction process to increase sales opportunities for Siplast and our customer base. Additionally, this role will collaborate across the organization to help define strategies that support, build and grow the individual business segments through product support as well as new product development. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to provide guidance to all functional areas to ensure the consistent deployment of the business strategy.Essential DutiesManagement of Regional Sales•Sell Siplast products through specification selling to major owners, architects, roofing consultants, landscape architects, civil engineers, roofing and overburden contractors including identification of prospective jobs and decision making individual, timely contact, and effective follow-up. Also includes proper use of sales and promotional tools provided by the company and development of additional tools, such as local job photos, testimonials, references, etc.•Assist with the development and maintenance of a quality select contractors program, based on knowledge of contractor business, general market knowledge, and active involvement in local trade organizations and activities. This includes the management of the contractor base including regular business review meetings, training of contractor crews and monitoring of Siplast applications.•Provide technical services including development and/or review of specifications for prospective jobs, participation in pre-job meetings (when required), conduct periodic job inspections (when required), and basic troubleshooting. Work closely with local field technical representatives in prioritizing and managing technical needs of his/her territory•Develop, monitor and manage Sales budget including forecasting, sales and related business expenses ensuring that all territory expenses are within defined limits and policies followed•Complete all required administrative and electronic reports to include itinerary, expense reports, prospect lists, job quotes, shipping forecasts, call reports, activity reports, guarantee forms, factory warehouse inventory reports per established guidelines and time frames•Administer pricing guidelines to include maximizing price on each job, proper and timely documentation for pricing and responsible determination for required pricing deviations, based upon job size, competitive threat, specification rigidity, etc.•Assist the Credit Manager in maintaining all accounts in a "current" or "acceptable" status•Aide Regional Sales Director/Area Vice President in cultivating and mentoring other team members with a culture that is driven by relentless innovation and with a strong emphasis on motivation including training, inspiring and providing feedback on team members and Independent Sales Agents•Assist with distribution management by determining the need for and selection of adequate sources of material supply in all markers serviced, assisting with inventory determination and management (when required), and training and motivation of distributor personnelManagement of Region•Strategize, determine, and justify the need for sales personnel and/or independent sales agents, their geographic territories/location, and the specific sales area for which they will have responsibility or protected territory/accounts•Collaborate with leadership on adding or terminating relationships with contractors and/or distributors within the assigned territory•Partner with leadership and team to create assigned area's sales forecasts and projections and develop and implement sales plans as well as report on status, challenges and key performance indicators•Supervise and direct the sales effort of the region's sales personnel, with strong emphasis on strategic planning, execution, collaboration and creativity, working closely with them to achieve the maximum sales volume each district can produce, and ensuring the achievement of the region's goals and objectives•Provide various events such as sales presentations, plant visits and product demonstrations to ensure support and training for customers•Partner with the Field and Technical Departments to ensure the technical needs of the region are being met, and that all region sales personnel are communicating with, and providing assistance to the Field and Technical Departments, as neededManagement of Sales Personnel•Cultivate, manage and develop a high-performing, agile, team culture that is driven by relentless innovation and with a strong emphasis on motivation. This includes directing the day to day operations of the team, performance management, and conducting mid-year and year-end reviews•Spearhead all aspects of the hiring process-from interviewing and negotiating offers to onboarding and training. This includes determining compensation, aligning new hires with specific territories, and ensuring compliance with both company policies and all relevant federal and provincial regulations•Evaluate and identify employee training and developmental needs, then coordinate and oversee programs to ensure those training objectives are met•Oversee all administrative team functions, such as approving time-off requests, while ensuring full compliance with company policy and maintaining adequate staffing levelsQualifications RequiredH.S.
