Cryptography Infrastructure Engineer - PayShield/Entrust NShield/Luna

Job Description ABOUT THE PROJECT Cryptography protects the confidentiality and authenticity of trillions of dollars of transactions globally. It is a core service for the entire organization. Subject Matter Expertise and engineering skills are required to be part of a project that improves HSM observability for the entire Clients encryption estate. The existing HSM observability is ready to be taken to the next level, enhancing resilience, increasing monitoring capabilities, and enabling faster alerting. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Implement a new monitoring and alerting solution based on Splunk. Possess specific knowledge about Entrust Nshield HSMs and extracting relevant data from the device via SNMP. Collaborate closely with team members as SME for Entrust Nshield HSMs and other HSMs. Work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements. Write design and test specifications for your responsibilities within the observability project. Contribute to project documentation. Help define the roadmap for continual improvements in cryptographic services management. Identify potential issues proactively, think creatively, and find innovative solutions. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE Good knowledge of HSMs, specifically Entrust Nshield HSM, Luna HSM, and PayShield. Understanding of how HSM monitoring works, with expertise in technologies like SNMP. Stakeholder management skills, with experience in understanding and meeting multiple stakeholder needs. Team collaboration skills, contributing to discussions and respecting others' input. An innovative mindset, willing to speak up about new ideas and innovations. Understanding cybersecurity principles, global financial services business models, regional compliance standards, local regulations, and applicable laws. Knowledge of cryptographic modules and solutions, e.g., TPMs. Familiarity with industry cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as OWASP, ISO27001 series, PCI DSS, GLBA, GDPR, FFIEC guidelines, CIS, and NIST standards. Experience in Windows and Linux server administration. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure platforms and technologies. Knowledge of SSH/SSL functionality and usage. Experience working with technology teams to bring lab concepts to market and develop operational models. Strong documentation skills.
